1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EduJobsBoard (edujobsboard.org), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use EduJobsBoard, including job seekers, district representatives, and administrators.

2. Description of Service

EduJobsBoard is a free job aggregation platform that collects and displays public education job listings from school district websites across the United States. The service includes:

• A searchable directory of education job listings
• A directory of school districts with profiles and contact information
• The ability for authorized district representatives to claim and manage district profiles
• Contact forms for district inquiries and general feedback

EduJobsBoard is provided free of charge. We do not charge job seekers or districts for use of the platform.

3. User Accounts

User accounts on EduJobsBoard are created through Google OAuth. By signing in, you agree to the following:

• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You will not share your account or allow others to access EduJobsBoard using your credentials.
• You will notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

4. District Profiles

EduJobsBoard allows authorized school district representatives to claim and manage profiles for their districts. By claiming a district profile, you represent and warrant that:

• You are authorized by the school district to manage its public profile on EduJobsBoard.
• All information you provide is accurate and up to date.
• You will update or remove information that is no longer accurate.

We reserve the right to:

• Review and verify district claims before or after approval.
• Remove or modify district profiles that contain inaccurate or misleading information.
• Revoke claims and suspend accounts associated with false or unauthorized claims.

False claims of district representation may result in immediate account suspension.

5. Job Listings

Job listings on EduJobsBoard are aggregated from publicly available school district career pages. Please be aware of the following:

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any job listing.
• Listings may be delayed, outdated, or removed by districts at any time.
• All job applications are handled directly by the respective school districts. EduJobsBoard does not process, review, or forward applications.
• EduJobsBoard is not a party to any employment relationship or hiring decision.
• We are not responsible for the hiring practices, decisions, or outcomes of any school district.

6. Acceptable Use

When using EduJobsBoard, you agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access our APIs, website, or data without prior written permission.
• Impersonate a school district, district representative, or any other person or entity.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, servers, or networks connected to EduJobsBoard.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its related systems.
• Post, submit, or transmit false, misleading, or deceptive content.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Reproduce, duplicate, or resell any part of the service without express written permission.

7. Intellectual Property

The EduJobsBoard platform, including its design, code, branding, logos, and original content, is the property of EduJobsBoard and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Job listing content displayed on EduJobsBoard belongs to the respective school districts that originally published it. EduJobsBoard does not claim ownership of third-party job listing content.

Content uploaded by district representatives (including logos, descriptions, and images) remains the property of the respective district. By uploading content, you grant EduJobsBoard a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

EDUJOBSBOARD IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• The results obtained from the service will be accurate or reliable.
• Any job listings are current, complete, or accurate.
• Any defects in the service will be corrected.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EDUJOBSBOARD AND ITS OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
• Damages resulting from hiring decisions, employment outcomes, or reliance on job listing information.
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
• Damages resulting from any third-party content or services accessed through EduJobsBoard.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which damages are sought.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to EduJobsBoard at any time, for any reason, without prior notice or liability. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms of Service.
• Fraudulent or unauthorized district claims.
• Abusive or disruptive behavior.
• Requests from law enforcement or government agencies.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the use of EduJobsBoard shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of Washington.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of EduJobsBoard after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
